Wiskundehulp MCP

A free, public, read-only MCP server providing 31 math calculators for Dutch secondary school education. It supports solving equations, percentages, trigonometry, and statistics with step-by-step explanations in Dutch and English, requiring no authentication or data storage.

Server-provided instructions

Untrusted server output shown for inspection. It is not Koskamo guidance and is excluded from knowledge search.

Wiskundehulp: step-by-step maths for Dutch secondary school (vmbo, havo, vwo). Use solve_math_question for a free-form question (Dutch or English, e.g. 'los op x^2-5x+6=0', '15% van 80', 'derivative of x^3'). Use list_calculators, then run_calculator, when you know the exact calculator and inputs. Dutch answers use a decimal comma and a dot for thousands (1.028 = 1028); English answers use 2.5 and 1,028. Every answer includes the worked steps and a link to the matching page on wiskunde-hulp.com with an explanation and practice.

solve_math_question — Solve a maths question
Advertised by the server during the last successful anonymous check.
Advertised read-only

Solve a short maths question written in Dutch or English and return the answer with worked steps. Understands quadratic and linear equations, percentages, fractions, Pythagoras, derivatives, exponential growth, normal distribution, GCD/LCM, division with remainder, scale and plain arithmetic (e.g. '2^10 + sqrt(16)'). If the question is not understood, it says so and suggests the closest topics; it never guesses.

list_calculators — List calculators
Advertised by the server during the last successful anonymous check.
Advertised read-only

List every calculator with its id, modes and input fields. Pass calculator=<id> to also get field hints and an example input. Call this before run_calculator.

run_calculator — Run a calculator
Advertised by the server during the last successful anonymous check.
Advertised read-only

Run one calculator (ids from list_calculators) with explicit inputs and return the answer with worked steps. Field types: number (JSON number, or a string such as '2,5' or '-3'), fraction ({"n":3,"d":4} or '3/4'), list (array of numbers or '4; 7; 9'), text (a formula string such as 'x^3 - 2x'). Calculators with units accept inputs.unit (e.g. 'cm').
