This silent walkthrough shows real requests to Koskamo's public MCP endpoint, https://koskamo.com/api/mcp, recorded on 2026-10-30. It is an API demonstration, not a ChatGPT conversation. No credentials were sent and no production write succeeded.
00:00 — Connect over Streamable HTTP. The endpoint negotiates MCP 2025-11-25 and identifies Koskamo server version 1.1.0.
00:14 — Find the official GitHub MCP server. The result includes the endpoint, OAuth sign-in type, a GitHub-account prerequisite, use cases, and the vendor documentation URL. Client setup instructions live on the linked Koskamo listing pages and /connect.
00:27 — Find the official Slack MCP server. The result includes https://mcp.slack.com/mcp, OAuth, a Slack-account requirement, use cases, and https://docs.slack.dev/ai/slack-mcp-server/. Vendor accounts and permissions still apply. A weekly probe does not guarantee every vendor tool works without credentials.
00:42 — Retrieve HTTP 429 from the http-status-codes dataset. The passage identifies Too Many Requests and cites the IANA HTTP Status Code Registry, with document version 1. Preserve the source URL and document version. Similarity scores rank candidate matches and are not factual confidence scores.
00:56 — Retrieve the speed of light in vacuum from codata-constants. The NIST CODATA passage gives 299,792,458 metres per second, exact by the SI definition, with document version 2 and a NIST source URL.
01:08 — List public datasets. The catalog returns dataset names and descriptions for choosing a reference source. It does not expose private datasets.
01:20 — Request records from a deliberately nonexistent dataset. No passages are returned. The client must say it found no supporting public evidence. This case does not claim to test access to a real private record.
01:31 — Attempt anonymous revision approval with a nonexistent revision identifier. The server refuses it because an owner API key is required. No revision is changed.
01:42 — Request an invented bulk-delete tool. The server returns Unknown tool, JSON-RPC error -32602. No deletion occurs.
01:51 — Open https://koskamo.com/connect for setup instructions. Listed MCP servers are probed weekly; those that keep failing are hidden. Check each vendor's prerequisites before connecting.
