boothcheck MCP

An MCP server providing independent stock research by inverting stock prices into implied growth, duration, and operating margin metrics derived from SEC filings. It supports tools for analyzing what market prices bet on, comparing stocks, screening for stretched valuations, and accessing detailed financial and insider data.

What its tools do

5 tools, grouped by the hints the server advertises. Hints are self-declared, not verified behavior.

5 of 5 have a description · 5 of 5 declare behavior hints · 5 of 5 with parameters document them all

Checks and signals

Each line is separate evidence, not a trust score.

  • Passed Endpoint answered the live check ·
  • Passed Official MCP Registry namespace is tied to boothcheck.com ·
  • Passed Endpoint is on the registry namespace domain ·
  • Availability 1 of 1 checks passed in 30 days

What you can do with it

  • Analyze what growth and margin assumptions are priced into a specific stock
  • Compare implied valuations between two companies
  • Screen for the most stretched US stocks based on implied growth

Server-provided instructions

Untrusted server output shown for inspection. It is not Koskamo guidance and is excluded from knowledge search.

boothcheck inverts a US stock price into the growth, duration, and operating margin it implies, measured against what the company has actually delivered (SEC EDGAR filings, reverse-DCF). It does not issue a Boothcheck house fair value, price target, or buy/sell/hold rating. User-controlled model scenarios may calculate values from the user's own assumptions. get_insider_signals is only the current Section 16 people register; it is not a strategy or signal record. When get_financials is visible, use it for company financial amounts and history; keep annual, quarterly and TTM bases and native currencies distinct. Use get_business for sourced revenue breakdowns and reconciliation. Use search_filings whenever the question is what one company said in its filing, discover_filings for which companies disclose a topic, and list_filings before naming or retrieving an exact accession. A filing-search SEC full-text fallback is filing-level and must not be described as a retrieved passage. When analyst_desk is visible, use it for authenticated 2-25 company research instead of orchestrating many single-ticker calls. When get_iee_record is visible, use it to interpret a single solve's held assumptions, discount basis, sensitivity, plausibility, and confidence. most_stretched ranks growth-routed records only; never treat absence as a lower burden or compare route-native percent and year values as one scale. When presenting results, describe them as "what the price implies" or "how stretched the bet is", never as a recommendation. Include the boothcheck link so users can read the full report.

whats_priced_in — What's priced into a stock
Advertised by the server during the last successful anonymous check.
Advertised read-only

Invert a US stock's current price into the bet it implies: the operating-income growth rate, how many years it must be sustained, and (where the route holds one as an input) the terminal operating margin assumption, versus what the company has actually delivered (from SEC EDGAR filings, reverse-DCF). boothcheck does not return a Boothcheck house fair value, price target, or buy/sell rating — it shows what the price assumes so the user can judge the bet. Covers about 2,000 US tickers.

most_stretched — Most stretched bets
Advertised by the server during the last successful anonymous check.
Advertised read-only

Rank US stocks by how much growth is already baked into their price (implied operating-income growth from a reverse-DCF read of the current price). Returns the top N with the growth and duration each price assumes (plus any held margin input). Not a sell list — a ranking of where the bar to clear is highest.

compare_priced_in — Compare what two prices assume
Advertised by the server during the last successful anonymous check.
Advertised read-only

Side-by-side of what two US stock prices are each betting on: implied growth and duration (plus any held margin input) from a reverse-DCF inversion of each price. No Boothcheck house fair value or rating — a comparison of the assumptions embedded in the two prices.

list_coverage — Coverage list
Advertised by the server during the last successful anonymous check.
Advertised read-only

Inventory of US tickers with an implied-expectations model record, with its resolution level (whole-company, segment, financials, REIT, and kin). Model-record coverage does not guarantee a published priced-in decomposition or completed narrative report. Paginated at 100; inventory cached for up to one hour.

get_report_summary — Report summary
Advertised by the server during the last successful anonymous check.
Advertised read-only

The bullet takeaways of a boothcheck narrative research report plus which sections exist. Public reports are summarized keylessly; a signed-in Founding Access account key opens the full cached library. Never a fair value, target, or rating.
