usitc-tariffs-mcp-server
An MCP server that allows agents to search the U.S. Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) from the USITC. It provides tools to search commodity descriptions, inspect classification ancestry, browse chapter headings, and retrieve published base duty rates for legal and statistical lines.
Endpoint and access
No sign-in to connect and list tools. Individual tools may still need a vendor account, credentials, or permissions; check the documented prerequisites.

Advertised read-onlyOpen-world
Inspect a four-, six- or eight-digit HTS classification and its complete indented descendants, including unnamed superior rows. Published section titles are retained separately in sections, outside legal ancestry. Ancestry is built from the whole containing heading before filtering. Each parent and inherited-rate source has an exact nodeId follow-up. Chapters 98 and 99 preserve published forest roots without inventing four-digit records.
