Worms Marine Taxa MCP

An MCP server that resolves WoRMS marine species names to AphiaIDs and fetches classifications, synonyms, distributions, traits, and external identifiers via the keyless WoRMS REST API. It supports STDIO or Streamable HTTP transports and provides tools for resolving scientific or common names, fetching taxon records, and cross-walking IDs.
