web3ctx MCP

Provides version-true Web3 context for coding agents, including documentation, standards, ABIs, deployment addresses, and human-validated integration recipes. It ensures accurate retrieval by labeling units with project@version and citing pinned commits, abstaining when evidence is missing to prevent deceptive grounding.

Endpoint and access

No sign-in to connect and list tools. Individual tools may still need a vendor account, credentials, or permissions; check the documented prerequisites.

What its tools do

5 tools, grouped by the hints the server advertises. Hints are self-declared, not verified behavior.

5 of 5 have a description · 5 of 5 declare behavior hints · 0 of 5 with parameters document them all

Checks and signals

Each line is separate evidence, not a trust score.

  • Passed Endpoint answered the live check ·
  • Availability 1 of 1 checks passed in 30 days

What you can do with it

  • Lookup typed records like deployment addresses, ABIs, and EIPs
  • Search for ranked, version-scoped units and integration recipes
  • Fetch full documentation bodies by stable selector with cursor paging
  • Resolve dependency closures stepped by depth

Server-provided instructions

Untrusted server output shown for inspection. It is not Koskamo guidance and is excluded from knowledge search.

Version-true Web3 context: code, docs, EIPs, ABIs and deployment addresses, scoped to an exact project version. Escalation ladder — start at the cheapest primitive that can answer: lookup → grep → search → deps → fetch - lookup: a typed record (address, ABI, EIP). Mis-routing away from lookup is the worst failure on this surface. - grep: an exact identifier you already know. - search: prose, or an identifier you do not know. Returns selectors, not bodies. - deps: once you hold a selector and the surrounding surface matters. - fetch: last. The only step that spends tokens on bodies. Max 5 selectors. Version contract: pass `version` when you know it. Every response labels `version_defaulted` when you did not, and carries `project@version`, `last_validated` and `as_of` on every unit. Two versions of one interface are never returned without labelling both. Scoping: if your client sends a lockfile or package manifest, the server scopes to the projects it names — the most reliable path. Otherwise scoping falls back to identifiers in the query, which abstains rather than guess when the evidence is thin.
