VectoSolve MCP

A remote MCP server that converts raster images (PNG, JPG, WebP, GIF) into vector formats (SVG, DXF, EPS) for use in AI assistants like Claude and ChatGPT. It supports modes for standard design, laser cutting, Cricut, and centerline tracing, returning a preview and the file source directly in the conversation.

Endpoint and access

No sign-in to connect and list tools. Individual tools may still need a vendor account, credentials, or permissions; check the documented prerequisites.

What you can do with it

  • Convert PNG images to SVG for design tools
  • Generate DXF files for laser cutters and CNC routers
  • Create EPS files for print and sign-making
  • Trace line art with centerline mode for scanned drawings

Server-provided instructions

Untrusted server output shown for inspection. It is not Koskamo guidance and is excluded from knowledge search.

VectoSolve turns raster images (PNG, JPG, WebP, GIF, including images generated in this conversation) into clean vector files. vectorize returns a rendered preview and the complete file: SVG for design tools, DXF for laser cutters, CNC and CAD, or EPS for print and sign-making. Use mode "laser" or "cricut" for cutting machines, "centerline" for scanned drawings and line art that must become single strokes. The file vectorize returns is the finished result: save that source to a file exactly as returned and give it to the user, together with the preview. Do not re-trace, redraw or regenerate the vector with code, and do not edit the returned source.

Convert a raster image (PNG, JPG, WebP or GIF, up to 10 MB) into a vector file. Returns a rendered PNG preview of the result and the complete file source as text, ready to save as .svg, .dxf or .eps. Input: image_url, a public http(s) link to the image; in ChatGPT, an image attached to the conversation arrives as the image file instead. Modes: "standard" (logos, illustrations, AI-generated art), "laser" (closed cut paths for laser cutters), "cricut" (cutting machines), "centerline" (one stroke per line: scanned drawings, line art, single-line lettering; photos and filled shapes are refused). Formats: "svg" (default), "dxf" (R12 polylines in millimetres, for laser, CNC and CAD), "eps" (print and sign-making). Very detailed images such as photos can give a file too large to return in the conversation. A conversion takes about 5 to 20 seconds. Deliver the returned file exactly as it is, saved under the given extension: never replace it with a tracing of your own.
