USGS Water MCP
An MCP server that allows agents to query real-time and historical water data from approximately 8,000 USGS stream gages and groundwater wells. It supports finding monitoring sites, retrieving latest readings or historical time series, and analyzing hydrologic conditions against period-of-record statistics.
Package and access
Local package with source-attributed installation metadata. Koskamo does not execute packages during review.
What you can do with it
- Find USGS monitoring sites by location or parameter
- Get latest real-time water readings for specific sites
- Retrieve historical time series data for analysis
- Check current hydrologic conditions against historical percentiles
