Schedule recurring AI agent tasks
The agent automatically executes scheduled notifications or webhooks at specified intervals, enabling reliable automation of periodic workflows without manual intervention.
How it works
The agent uses the schedule_task tool to create a new task. It determines the appropriate action (notify or webhook), sets the timing using in_seconds or run_at, and optionally configures repeat_every_seconds for recurring jobs. Before scheduling, the agent should verify that the notification channel (email, Slack, Discord) or webhook URL is correctly configured in the user's AgentCron dashboard to ensure delivery. It then calls schedule_task with the defined parameters.
Prompt
Paste this into an agent that has the servers below connected. Adjust the names and dates to your own.
