List compositions in After Effects project

The AI agent retrieves and lists all composition names currently existing in the active After Effects project, allowing the user to quickly survey their workspace without manually opening the project panel.

How it works

The user connects their AI client to the After Effects MCP server via the Prism dashboard. After installing the extension and signing in, the user opens a composition in After Effects. The agent then executes a tool call to query the project structure. The user should verify that the AI successfully reads the composition list back, confirming the connection is active and the extension is correctly installed.
