Generate 3D Print Quote and Initiate Checkout
The agent obtains a structured manufacturing quote for a 3D printed part and generates a Stripe Checkout URL for customer payment authorization after technician review.
How it works
The agent first calls printing.sessions.start to obtain a 24-hour guest token. It then uploads a CAD file (STL, OBJ, STEP, STP, or 3MF) via printing.quotes.create, specifying material and quantity. The agent reviews the returned structured quote for printability and price. Before proceeding, it checks quote.checkoutEligibility to ensure the order meets minimum/maximum limits. Upon explicit customer approval, the agent calls printing.checkout.create to generate a Stripe Checkout URL. The customer completes payment in Stripe, which authorizes the card. AIURION technicians then review the file and capture payment before manufacturing begins.
