Execute paid API calls via MCP
The agent successfully authenticates, purchases credits, and executes a paid API call through the APIHub proxy, receiving the upstream JSON response and payment confirmation headers.
How it works
The agent first ensures the user has an API key and sufficient USDC credits on Base. It then constructs a request to the APIHub proxy endpoint, including the Bearer token for authentication. Upon receiving the response, it verifies the payment headers (x-apihub-charged) to confirm the transaction was debited correctly. Before acting, the agent should check the user's credit balance to ensure the call can be completed.

The fastest path to working calls is the CLI. It handles auth, MCP client setup, and credit purchases without any wallet plumbing on your end.Getting started - APIHub Docs - APIHub
