URLpipe MCP MCP server

A remote MCP server provided by URLpipe that allows AI agents to fetch and render web pages using a real headless Chrome browser. It exposes tools to extract Markdown, screenshots, metadata, Lighthouse audits, console errors, and summaries from any URL, handling JavaScript-heavy sites that standard HTTP fetchers cannot read.

Endpoint and access

No sign-in: your client connects and lists tools immediately, with no account or key.

Claude Code

Run this once in a terminal. It registers a Streamable HTTP server. Use --scope project to write .mcp.json for the repo.
Claude Code configuration
claude mcp add --transport http urlpipe-mcp https://urlpipe.dev/mcp

Codex

Run this once. Codex stores MCP servers in ~/.codex/config.toml (or .codex/config.toml in a trusted project).
Codex configuration
codex mcp add urlpipe-mcp --url https://urlpipe.dev/mcp

Cursor

Merge this server into .cursor/mcp.json in your project, then enable urlpipe-mcp in your MCP settings.
Cursor configuration
{
  "mcpServers": {
    "urlpipe-mcp": {
      "url": "https://urlpipe.dev/mcp"
    }
  }
}

Cline

Merge this into cline_mcp_settings.json (Cline → MCP Servers → Configure). The type must be streamableHttp for a remote HTTP server.
Cline configuration
{
  "mcpServers": {
    "urlpipe-mcp": {
      "type": "streamableHttp",
      "url": "https://urlpipe.dev/mcp",
      "disabled": false

Gemini CLI configuration
gemini mcp add --transport http urlpipe-mcp https://urlpipe.dev/mcp

Claude Desktop

Merge this into claude_desktop_config.json (macOS: ~/Library/Application Support/Claude/, Windows: %APPDATA%\Claude\), then restart Claude Desktop.
