Underlayer MCP MCP server

The Underlayer MCP server enables AI agents to programmatically build, publish, and track embedded training courses. It exposes tools for managing courses, screens, blocks, SCORM exports, themes, collections, translations, webhooks, certificates, identities, and learner progress. It supports authentication via Bearer tokens or OAuth, ensuring scoped access to the user's workspace for creating and updating educational content.

Endpoint and access

OAuth sign-in: the first time you connect, your client opens the vendor's own authorization prompt in a browser.

Claude Code configuration
claude mcp add --transport http underlayer-mcp https://underlayerhq.com/api/mcp

Codex

Run this once. Codex stores MCP servers in ~/.codex/config.toml (or .codex/config.toml in a trusted project).
