typeprobe MCP
An MCP server that queries the TypeScript compiler to provide inferred types, completions, and type errors to AI coding agents. It supports tools like hover_by_name, diagnostics, and completions, enabling agents to understand code structure without guessing. It also offers a testing library for snapshot testing inferred types.
Package and access
Local package with source-attributed installation metadata. Koskamo does not execute packages during review.
What you can do with it
- Retrieve inferred types for named symbols in TypeScript files
- Get type completions at a specific cursor position
- Check for type errors (diagnostics) in a file
- Lock API inferred types in snapshot tests
