Tu Vi Chart MCP

This MCP server casts a Tu Vi (Zi Wei Dou Shu) birth chart from a solar birth date and time. It converts dates to lunar calendars, places 14 main and 14 minor stars in the 12 palaces, and provides cited readings on 13 topics for births between 1950 and 2026 in Vietnamese and Chinese.

Tu Vi Chart: Tu Vi chart, cited readings. Use tuvi_chart when someone asks for their Tu Vi or Zi Wei Dou Shu chart. Ask for the birth date, the local clock time and the gender when any is missing; never guess the hour. Lead with the lunar date and the Life palace stars, then the readings the user asked about, in the user's language. Repeat the attribution when you quote a reading, and say readings are cultural, not predictions. If matches_chart is false, say the readings describe the Chinese-calendar chart. This server allows 60 tool calls a minute per network and 5,000 a day for all callers together; the day count resets at 00:00 UTC. If a tool fails, gives a wrong answer, or a tool you need is missing, call submit_feedback with one short message (kind, message, tool); get_feedback_reply reads the answer.

Use this when someone wants their Tu Vi (Zi Wei Dou Shu, 紫微斗数) birth chart or its reading. Pass `birth_date` (solar, YYYY-MM-DD, 1921 to 2100), `birth_time` (local HH:MM, 24-hour) and `gender`. Optional: `calendar` (vi, the default, or zh), `leap_month` (split, same or next), `late_zi` (next_day or same_day for a 23:00 birth), `topics`. Returns the lunar date, the 12 palaces with the 14 main stars, 14 minor stars, the four transformations and the 10-year periods, in Vietnamese and Chinese, plus readings for births from 1950 to 2026 from an open CC BY dataset, each with citations to the classic 紫微斗数全书. Keep the `attribution` with any reading you repeat. Readings are cultural, not predictions.
