Trove MCP

Trove is an open-source MCP memory server that provides a shared, sourced knowledge graph for AI agents. It allows agents to recall prior work, decisions, and preferences, and to save durable new facts back to the graph. Every fact shows its source, and stale facts get replaced, ensuring traceability and accuracy across sessions.

Endpoint and access

OAuth sign-in: the first time you connect, your client opens the vendor's own authorization prompt in a browser.

What you can do with it

  • Recall prior projects, decisions, and system knowledge before re-deriving answers
  • Save durable new facts, decisions, and corrections to the memory graph
  • Clean up and maintain the memory graph by merging duplicates and retiring stale beliefs
  • Ingest sources like URLs or files to index them into the memory graph

Claude Code

Run this once in a terminal. It registers the remote server. Use --scope project to write .mcp.json for the repo.
Claude Code configuration
claude mcp add --transport http trove-mcp-mytrove https://mytrove.in/mcp

Codex

Run this once. Codex stores MCP servers in ~/.codex/config.toml (or .codex/config.toml in a trusted project).
Codex configuration
codex mcp add trove-mcp-mytrove --url https://mytrove.in/mcp

Cursor

Merge this server into .cursor/mcp.json in your project, then enable trove-mcp-mytrove in your MCP settings.
