Tree-sitter MCP Server
This MCP server enables coding agents to parse code snippets into Tree-sitter Abstract Syntax Trees (ASTs). It supports a wide variety of programming languages including Python, JavaScript, Rust, and Go. The server provides tools to retrieve syntax tree structures, identifying node kinds, field names, and zero-based row-column ranges, which helps agents understand code structure before generating queries or walking the tree.
Package and access
Local package with source-attributed installation metadata. Koskamo does not execute packages during review.
What you can do with it
- Parse code snippets into Tree-sitter ASTs to visualize structure
- Check node kinds and field names for specific programming languages
- Identify syntax errors using ERROR and MISSING nodes
- Retrieve zero-based row-column ranges for code positions
Source and maintenance
- Maintenance checked
