Tiny Plates MCP
Tiny Plates provides an official MCP server that allows AI agents to access a structured recipe database. Agents can search for recipes using semantic queries, match available pantry ingredients to find suitable meals, scale serving sizes with unit conversions, and generate consolidated shopping lists grouped by grocery aisles. It supports authentication via user sign-in or API keys.
Endpoint and access
OAuth sign-in: the first time you connect, your client opens the vendor's own authorization prompt in a browser.
https://api.tinyplates.dev/mcpWhat you can do with it
- Search for recipes based on dietary restrictions or ingredients
- Find meals using only items currently in the user's pantry
- Generate a consolidated shopping list from multiple selected recipes
- Scale recipe ingredients for different serving sizes
Connect from your client
Each snippet registers the same endpoint; pick the client you use.
