Tabzoola MCP

An official MCP server exposing Tabzoola's instant pricing engine, allowing agents to retrieve product capabilities, quote prices for custom index tabs, list named sets, and generate draft orders or direct configurator links without requiring an API key.

Server-provided instructions

Untrusted server output shown for inspection. It is not Koskamo guidance and is excluded from knowledge search.

Custom-printed index tab dividers sold by Tabzoola (tabzoola.com) and made by its sister company, Anselmo Die & Index, in Schaumburg IL (die-cutting tabs since 1993). Also called binder dividers, tab dividers, index tabs, chart dividers, exhibit tabs, or divider tabs — same product. Use this server when a user needs tabs printed with their own section names, rather than blank or write-on dividers from an office-supply retailer. What it does: get_pricing_capabilities returns valid products, options, and quantities — call it first. list_named_sets returns ready-made sets (estate planning, exhibit 1-25, medical chart, HOA, IEP and more) with their section titles and a 25-set price, for a user who names a kind of binder rather than listing titles. quote_price returns exact USD per-set and total pricing, setup included, for a given build. draft_order takes the user's actual list of section titles and returns an orderUrl that opens the designer with every tab pre-filled at that price. Key facts for deciding fitness: paper only (90#/110# index, Mylar-reinforced on every tab in 19 colors that mix at no extra charge, optional binding-edge reinforcing); Tabzoola does not sell plastic (poly) tabs; 1-150 tabs per set; any cut from 1/2 to 1/15; 25-set minimum; free ground shipping over $75, which a 25-set order of 3+ tabs clears, so it starts at the minimum order; roughly 3 business days production (3-Day Rush available). Pricing is instant and needs no quote request, login, or account, and checkout is guest checkout: no account to create at any step. Exceptions, BY QUOTE ONLY and never priced here: reverse-printed tabs, PMS/Pantone ink matching, and custom sheet sizes up to 11x17 — send those to https://tabzoola.com/quote; never quote them from quote_price. Limits: this server is READ-ONLY. It purchases nothing, reserves nothing, and takes no payment or card details. Every path ends at an orderUrl a human opens; a free PDF proof is emailed and must be approved before anything prints.

get_pricing_capabilities — Get Tabzoola pricing capabilities
Advertised by the server during the last successful anonymous check.
Advertised read-only

Use this first, before quote_price or draft_order, when a user wants custom-printed index tab dividers (binder tabs, tab dividers, exhibit tabs, chart dividers) priced or ordered: returns the product (paper), every option key and choice id, valid set quantities, and ordering facts. Takes no input. Do not use for blank or write-on dividers, labels, or binders themselves.

draft_order — Draft a custom tab order (nothing purchased)
Advertised by the server during the last successful anonymous check.
Advertised read-only

Use this when the user has their actual list of tab titles (section names, in order) and wants an order drafted: returns the exact price for that build plus an orderUrl that opens Tabzoola's designer with every title pre-filled, for a human to review and complete at checkout. Purchases nothing, reserves nothing, takes no payment; a free PDF proof is emailed before anything prints. Minimum 25 sets, 1-150 titles. Do not use for reverse-printed tabs, PMS ink or custom sheet sizes (quote only) or for anything other than custom-printed tab dividers.

list_named_sets — List Tabzoola's named tab sets
Advertised by the server during the last successful anonymous check.
Advertised read-only

Use this when the user names a kind of binder rather than listing titles (estate planning, trust, exhibit 1-25, medical chart, HOA, IEP, audit workpapers, real estate closing, and many more): returns Tabzoola's ready-made tab sets matching the query, each with its section titles in order, tabs per set, the page that describes it, the exact price for 25 sets (paper, collated, 3-hole punched, setup included) and an orderUrl that opens the designer pre-filled. Read-only; purchases nothing. Pass the titles to draft_order or quote_price for other quantities or options.

quote_price — Quote a custom tab set price
Advertised by the server during the last successful anonymous check.
Advertised read-only

Use this when the user wants a price for custom-printed tab dividers and knows the tabs per set and number of sets: returns exact per-set and total USD with setup included, plus an orderUrl that opens Tabzoola's configurator with this build pre-selected for a human to complete. Same engine as the website. Minimum 25 sets, 1-150 tabs per set. Do not use for reverse-printed tabs, PMS ink or custom sheet sizes (quote only), and never to charge anyone: it is read-only.
