Sumibako MCP MCP server

Sumibako MCP allows coding agents to interact with the Sumibako notes vault. It enables agents to write, read, edit, and search pages in Markdown format, as well as publish pages to generate shareable links. The server operates without requiring an API token, using a browser-based approval flow for authentication.

Endpoint and access

OAuth sign-in: the first time you connect, your client opens the vendor's own authorization prompt in a browser.

  • Publish a page to the web and retrieve its shareable link
  • Edit specific text within an existing page

Claude Code

Run this once in a terminal. It registers a Streamable HTTP server. Use --scope project to write .mcp.json for the repo.
Claude Code configuration
claude mcp add --transport http sumibako-mcp https://sumibako.com/api/mcp

Codex

Run this once. Codex stores MCP servers in ~/.codex/config.toml (or .codex/config.toml in a trusted project).
Codex configuration
codex mcp add sumibako-mcp --url https://sumibako.com/api/mcp

Cursor

Merge this server into .cursor/mcp.json in your project, then enable sumibako-mcp in your MCP settings.
Cursor configuration
{
  "mcpServers": {
    "sumibako-mcp": {
      "url": "https://sumibako.com/api/mcp"
    }
  }
}

Merge this into cline_mcp_settings.json (Cline → MCP Servers → Configure). The type must be streamableHttp for a remote HTTP server.
Cline configuration
{
  "mcpServers": {
    "sumibako-mcp": {
      "type": "streamableHttp",
      "url": "https://sumibako.com/api/mcp",
