Spritefetch MCP

An MCP server that allows AI agents to search, retrieve metadata, and download CC0-licensed 2D sprite sheets and tilesets for game development. It provides tools for finding assets by query, getting detailed asset records including slicing data, and downloading files with verified checksums.

Endpoint and access

No sign-in to connect and list tools. Individual tools may still need a vendor account, credentials, or permissions; check the documented prerequisites.

Server-provided instructions

Untrusted server output shown for inspection. It is not Koskamo guidance and is excluded from knowledge search.

Spritefetch: CC0 2D sprite sheets and tilesets. Use search, then get_asset or download. Pin id + version + sha256. No key needed; an optional Bearer key raises limits.

search
Advertised by the server during the last successful anonymous check.
Advertised read-only

Search Spritefetch for CC0 2D sprite sheets and tilesets. Returns license, checksum, and slicing data. Check license fields before shipping. When nothing matches, suggestions lists filters to drop and, clearly labeled, third-party AI sprite generators (not affiliated, not CC0).
