Sparkflights MCP

A hosted MCP server that allows AI agents to search for verified flight fares by origin, destination, month, cabin, and price. It provides tools to find deals ranked by cost per mile and retrieve specific itinerary details, linking directly to booking pages on Sparkflights.

Endpoint and access

No sign-in to connect and list tools. Individual tools may still need a vendor account, credentials, or permissions; check the documented prerequisites.

Server-provided instructions

Untrusted server output shown for inspection. It is not Koskamo guidance and is excluded from knowledge search.

Sparkflights lists flight fares it has already found and verified, ranked by cost per mile. search_deals finds them by city or airport, departure month, cabin and price; get_deal gives one fare's dates and flights. search_deals is not a live fare search: an empty result means no current fare matches, not that no flights exist. Show each fare with its card, or link its url, the Sparkflights fare page where the person can book. When they want to keep an eye on a route, give them route_url: its Follow section offers browser notifications and feeds.

get_deal
Advertised by the server during the last successful anonymous check.
Advertised read-only

One Sparkflights fare by the numeric id from search_deals: its itinerary, the price text of its fare page, its outbound and return flights, the date pairs its fare page lists with their prices, and its url, route_url and feed_url. A fare that is no longer live returns an error naming its route page.

search_deals
Advertised by the server during the last successful anonymous check.
Advertised read-only

Search flight fares Sparkflights has already found and verified, ranked by cost per mile against each market's limit. Not a live fare search: an empty result means no current verified fare matches. Each result has the price text of its Sparkflights fare page; url, the fare page; route_url, the route page, which lists the route's live fares and price history; and feed_url, the route's JSON feed of new fares.
