SimplOrg MCP

An official MCP server that allows AI assistants like Claude and ChatGPT to connect to SimplOrg, enabling users to describe their team structure in plain language and receive a link to an editable org chart. It supports creating, visualizing, and sharing organizational hierarchies without requiring a user account.

Endpoint and access

No sign-in to connect and list tools. Individual tools may still need a vendor account, credentials, or permissions; check the documented prerequisites.

Server-provided instructions

SimplOrg creates org charts that open in the SimplOrg web editor at simplorg.com. create_org_chart builds a chart from a list of people and returns a link to it. Each person has a unique id; reports_to holds the id of their manager and is omitted for top-level people. read_org_chart returns the people and reporting lines of an existing SimplOrg chart link, so the chart can be changed and created again with create_org_chart.
