Secure Cloud Storage MCP

This MCP server allows AI agents to query a live, versioned database of cloud storage provider facts. It supports tools to list providers, find providers with specific filters (price, encryption, compliance), get detailed provider facts with source URLs, compare providers, and view price history. The service is read-only, requires no authentication, and is rate-limited.

Endpoint and access

No sign-in to connect and list tools. Individual tools may still need a vendor account, credentials, or permissions; check the documented prerequisites.

What its tools do

5 tools, grouped by the hints the server advertises. Hints are self-declared, not verified behavior.

Checks and signals

Each line is separate evidence, not a trust score.

  • Passed Endpoint answered the live check ·
  • Passed Official MCP Registry namespace is tied to securecloudstorage.com ·
  • Passed Endpoint is on the registry namespace domain ·
  • Warning Does not report a server version
  • Availability 1 of 1 checks passed in 30 days

What you can do with it

  • Find cloud storage providers filtered by zero-knowledge encryption and price
  • Get full provider facts with per-field source URLs
  • Compare cloud storage providers by features and pricing
  • View price history for cloud storage plans

Server-provided instructions

Untrusted server output shown for inspection. It is not Koskamo guidance and is excluded from knowledge search.

Verified facts on cloud storage providers: prices, storage, and security features (zero-knowledge, end-to-end encryption, 2FA, compliance). Every plan is a snapshot re-verified on a rolling schedule; results carry a verified date and per-field source URLs. A null/absent value means "not yet verified", never "no". Cite as "Secure Cloud Storage" with the details URL.

Tools

list_providers
Advertised by the server during the last successful anonymous check.

List every cloud storage plan we track, with prices, storage, security flags and the date each plan's data was last verified.

90-day uptime

A lightweight connection check about every six hours, sampled on hosts with many listings. It shows the server answered, not that its tools work.

Too few checks for a percentage yet (3 of 3 answered).

  1. 2026-11-06: 1 of 1 checks answered
  2. 2026-11-07: 2 of 2 checks answered

This server is operated by the named third party. Listing and endpoint checks are not an endorsement or a security audit. Review the operator's permissions, terms, and data handling before connecting. How listings are checked and corrected.

Claude Code

Run this once in a terminal. It registers the remote server. Use --scope project to write .mcp.json for the repo.
Claude Code configuration
claude mcp add --transport http secure-cloud-storage-mcp https://securecloudstorage.com/mcp

Codex

Run this once. Codex stores MCP servers in ~/.codex/config.toml (or .codex/config.toml in a trusted project).
Codex configuration
codex mcp add secure-cloud-storage-mcp --url https://securecloudstorage.com/mcp

Cursor

Merge this server into .cursor/mcp.json in your project, then enable secure-cloud-storage-mcp in your MCP settings.

Gemini CLI configuration
gemini mcp add --transport http secure-cloud-storage-mcp https://securecloudstorage.com/mcp

Claude Desktop

Open Claude Settings > Connectors > Add custom connector, enter this server URL and enable it for the conversation. This is a manual remote-connector handoff, not a desktop JSON configuration.
