Remap MCP

The Remap MCP server allows AI agents to generate multi-day trips and point-to-point routes for cycling, running, and walking. It supports tools to find places and generate routes based on distance, duration, climbing preferences, and scenery environments, with results displayed on interactive maps or via direct links.

Endpoint and access

No sign-in to connect and list tools. Individual tools may still need a vendor account, credentials, or permissions; check the documented prerequisites.

What you can do with it

  • Generate a 5km running route starting from a specific park
  • Plan a multi-day cycling trip between two cities
  • Find the coordinates or details for a specific location
  • Create a hilly walking route with forest scenery

Server-provided instructions

Remap generates cycling, running and walking routes that start and finish at the same place, and trips from a start to a destination, split into days. Use generate_routes when someone wants a route from a place, of a distance or a duration, or a route from one place to another. The routes are generated on the person’s device inside the Remap map and stream in over a few seconds; describe them from the route summaries the map reports rather than inventing streets or places. Once the map has looked up the places each route passes, it reports the summaries again with their titles and stories in real place names. The map also reports which scenery is near the start; suggest only that scenery, by the environments names it gives. The map opens the route the person picks in the Remap app, where they can follow it; once it has, the map reports that route’s link. Until the map reports, describe no routes: say they are being generated, and where no map shows, give the link from the tool result. If the map asks in the chat which route to pick, answer with one line per route on who it suits, say which you would pick and why, then ask one question whose answer would change the next request: about something the generate_routes result says was left open, or which of the scenery the map reports near the start they want more of, naming only that scenery. Never ask more than one question.

generate_routes — Generate routes
Advertised by the server during the last successful anonymous check.
Advertised read-only

Use this when someone wants a cycling, running or walking route that starts and finishes at the same place, with a target distance or duration and optional climbing and scenery preferences, or a trip from a start to a destination, split into days (give destination, or dest_lng and dest_lat; distance or duration is then the longest day). Do not use it for driving. Shows the routes on a map where the host supports it, and always returns a link that opens the same request in Remap. Give either start (place text such as "Tempelhofer Feld, Berlin") or lng and lat, never both. When the person has not said where, call generate_routes without a start: the map asks for the person’s location and generates routes from there.
