Advertised read-only

Search the pwa.directory catalog of progressive web apps. Returns listing summaries with slug, name, description, category, tags and the public listing URL. Read-only. get_submission_requirements

Advertised read-only

List exactly what submit_pwa needs: required and optional fields with their rules, the catalog categories, and the two review tiers. Free review takes about 7 days; Fast-Track costs $19.99 and is published within 48 h. Read-only, and cheap. Call it before submit_pwa rather than guessing a category.

submit_pwa

Open-world

Submit one progressive web app for review. Writes to the moderation queue and emails a receipt to contact_email; a human reviews it before anything is published. Free review takes about 7 days. Requires idempotency_key: replaying the same key returns the first submission instead of creating a duplicate. Returns submission_id, a handle valid for 30 days, after which get_submission_status and create_pro_launch_checkout reject it. Holding the handle authenticates nobody. Submit apps that exist and that you can name; the queue is read by a person.

get_submission_status
Advertised by the server during the last successful anonymous check.
Advertised read-only

Report where one submission stands, given the submission_id returned by submit_pwa. Read-only. Returns the app name, URL, submission date, tier and whether the listing is published. Never returns the submitter's email or any other personal data — the handle is a lookup key, not a credential. Handles older than 30 days are rejected.

Open-world

Create a Stripe Checkout link to upgrade an existing submission to Fast-Track ($19.99, published within 48 h, Full refund if rejected.). Creates a live payment session and returns its URL; it charges nobody by itself. Give the URL to the person you are working for and let them pay it — never attempt to complete the payment. Requires a submission_id from submit_pwa that is less than 30 days old.

90-day uptime

A lightweight connection check about every six hours, sampled on hosts with many listings. It shows the server answered, not that its tools work.

Too few checks for a percentage yet (1 of 1 answered).

30-day availability

Aggregated from read-only remote checks; this is not a tool-execution or security guarantee.

Connect from your client

Each snippet registers the same endpoint; pick the client you use.

This server is operated by the named third party. Listing and endpoint checks are not an endorsement or a security audit. Review the operator's permissions, terms, and data handling before connecting. How listings are checked and corrected.

Claude Code

Run this once in a terminal. It registers the remote server. Use --scope project to write .mcp.json for the repo.
Claude Code configuration
claude mcp add --transport http pwa-directory-mcp https://pwa.directory/mcp

Codex

Run this once. Codex stores MCP servers in ~/.codex/config.toml (or .codex/config.toml in a trusted project).
Codex configuration
codex mcp add pwa-directory-mcp --url https://pwa.directory/mcp

Cursor

Merge this server into .cursor/mcp.json in your project, then enable pwa-directory-mcp in your MCP settings.
Cursor configuration
{
  "mcpServers": {
    "pwa-directory-mcp": {
      "url": "https://pwa.directory/mcp"
    }
  }
}

Cline

Merge this into cline_mcp_settings.json (Cline → MCP Servers → Configure).
Cline configuration
{
  "mcpServers": {
    "pwa-directory-mcp": {
      "type": "streamableHttp",
      "url": "https://pwa.directory/mcp",
      "disabled": false
    }
  }
}

VS Code

Merge this server into .vscode/mcp.json. Use MCP: List Servers to start pwa-directory-mcp and inspect its tools.
VS Code configuration
{
  "servers": {
    "pwa-directory-mcp": {
      "type": "http",
      "url": "https://pwa.directory/mcp"
    }
  }
}

Gemini CLI

Run this once. It writes .gemini/settings.json in the current project; pass --scope user for ~/.gemini/settings.json.
Gemini CLI configuration
gemini mcp add --transport http pwa-directory-mcp https://pwa.directory/mcp

Claude Desktop

Open Claude Settings > Connectors > Add custom connector, enter this server URL and enable it for the conversation. This is a manual remote-connector handoff, not a desktop JSON configuration.
Claude Desktop configuration
https://pwa.directory/mcp

Windsurf

Merge this into ~/.codeium/windsurf/mcp_config.json, then refresh MCP in Cascade. Windsurf remote servers use serverUrl, not url.
Windsurf configuration
{
  "mcpServers": {
    "pwa-directory-mcp": {
      "serverUrl": "https://pwa.directory/mcp"
