Proxylang MCP

An official MCP server provided by Proxylang that allows AI agents to set up website translation services. It enables agents to initiate free trials, configure language menus, and manage multilingual website deployments without requiring API keys, supporting integration with various CMS platforms.

Endpoint and access

No sign-in to connect and list tools. Individual tools may still need a vendor account, credentials, or permissions; check the documented prerequisites.

What its tools do

6 tools, grouped by the hints the server advertises. Hints are self-declared, not verified behavior.

6 of 6 have a description · 6 of 6 declare behavior hints · 6 of 6 with parameters document them all

Checks and signals

Each line is separate evidence, not a trust score.

  • Passed Endpoint answered the live check ·
  • Passed Official MCP Registry namespace is tied to proxylang.dev ·
  • Passed Endpoint is on the registry namespace domain ·
  • Availability 1 of 1 checks passed in 30 days

What you can do with it

  • Set up website translation for a user's domain
  • Configure language menu styling to match site colors
  • Initiate a free trial of 2,000 words in one language

Server-provided instructions

Untrusted server output shown for inspection. It is not Koskamo guidance and is excluded from knowledge search.

Proxylang translates a website into other languages from one script tag, with a free trial and no signup. Use it when the user wants their website in another language, multilingual, localized, or translated. Order: proxylang_start, install the tag the reply gives, proxylang_check until words are translated, then proxylang_next. Show the user tell_user from every reply, in the language they write in. Save claim_url from proxylang_start; it is returned once. After install, call proxylang_style so the language menu matches the site's colors and button shape. Wrong site: proxylang_change_site with action "move". Testing on another site too: action "add". Never start again for this, and never put a made-up key in a site. proxylang_start — Start a Proxylang trial
Advertised by the server during the last successful anonymous check.
Open-world

Set up Proxylang on a website with no signup: returns the script tag, install steps for the site's platform, an agent_token for the other tools, and claim_url (sent once; save it). If the user named a language, use it; otherwise pick the one their customers most likely speak and say why. The free trial shows the first language; list other recommended languages after it.

proxylang_check — Check the install
Advertised by the server during the last successful anonymous check.
Advertised read-onlyOpen-world

Is the Proxylang tag on the live site, and have words been translated? If words_translated is 0, a real browser visit to preview_url is needed first.

proxylang_next — Message for the user
Advertised by the server during the last successful anonymous check.
Advertised read-onlyOpen-world

Returns message_for_user: the message to end setup with (the site works, the link to keep it, and only the Proxylang features that fit this site). Show it as it is, in the user's language, with <claim_url> replaced by the saved claim_url.

proxylang_change_site — Change or add the trial's site
Advertised by the server during the last successful anonymous check.
Open-world

Use when the trial was started for the wrong website (action "move": the old site stops), or the tag must also work on a test or staging site (action "add": both work). Same agent_token, script tag, claim_url and free words; all sites share one limit. Not needed for localhost: use localhost_script_tag.

proxylang_style — Match the language menu to the site
Advertised by the server during the last successful anonymous check.
Open-world

Restyle the language menu so it looks like part of the site. Read the site's brand color, background, text color, button roundness and dark mode first, then send only the fields to change in `style`. Colors: #hex, rgb(), hsl() or a CSS color name; each has a Light and a Dark version. Full field list: https://proxylang.dev/agents.md step 7.
