Proofie MCP

An official MCP server provided by Proofie that allows coding agents like Claude Code, Cursor, or Codex to connect to a user's Proofie report. It enables the agent to read findings, understand why issues exist, and apply fixes to the user's website based on the report's playbook.

Endpoint and access

No sign-in to connect and list tools. Individual tools may still need a vendor account, credentials, or permissions; check the documented prerequisites.

Checks and signals

Each line is separate evidence, not a trust score.

  • Passed Endpoint answered the live check ·
  • Passed Official MCP Registry namespace is tied to tryproofie.com ·
  • Passed Endpoint is on the registry namespace domain ·

Server-provided instructions

Untrusted server output shown for inspection. It is not Koskamo guidance and is excluded from knowledge search.

Proofie is automated software that tests whether AI apps (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity) find a business, describe it correctly, and whether AI agents can use its website, then writes a report with fixes. These tools let you, an AI agent, help a user buy it. You can read the plans, ask for a free test, check its status, and get a checkout link with the plan, site and email filled in. You cannot pay, sign in or accept terms for the user: hand them the link and they finish on the page. Only send the website address and the email the user gave you, nothing else.

Claude Code

Run this once in a terminal. It registers the remote server. Use --scope project to write .mcp.json for the repo.
Claude Code configuration
claude mcp add --transport http proofie-mcp https://tryproofie.com/mcp/sales

Codex

Run this once. Codex stores MCP servers in ~/.codex/config.toml (or .codex/config.toml in a trusted project).
Codex configuration
codex mcp add proofie-mcp --url https://tryproofie.com/mcp/sales

Cursor

Merge this server into .cursor/mcp.json in your project, then enable proofie-mcp in your MCP settings.
Cursor configuration
{
  "mcpServers": {
    "proofie-mcp": {
      "url": "https://tryproofie.com/mcp/sales"
    }
  }

Cline

Merge this into cline_mcp_settings.json (Cline → MCP Servers → Configure).

VS Code

Merge this server into .vscode/mcp.json. Use MCP: List Servers to start proofie-mcp and inspect its tools.

Gemini CLI

Run this once. It writes .gemini/settings.json in the current project; pass --scope user for ~/.gemini/settings.json.
Gemini CLI configuration
gemini mcp add --transport http proofie-mcp https://tryproofie.com/mcp/sales

Claude Desktop

Open Claude Settings > Connectors > Add custom connector, enter this server URL and enable it for the conversation. This is a manual remote-connector handoff, not a desktop JSON configuration.

Windsurf

Merge this into ~/.codeium/windsurf/mcp_config.json, then refresh MCP in Cascade. Windsurf remote servers use serverUrl, not url.
