postgres-mcp-safe MCP

A secure, read-only drop-in replacement for the deprecated @modelcontextprotocol/server-postgres. It allows AI tools like Claude, Cursor, and Zed to query a Postgres database, read its schema, and explain queries. It enforces read-only access by opening a fresh connection and starting a READ ONLY transaction for every call, preventing destructive operations like COMMIT or DROP TABLE even if a superuser is used.
