pkgxray MCP
pkgxray is an open-source, local security scanner that provides pre-install verdicts (SAFE, REVIEW, BLOCK) for npm packages, PyPI packages, and MCP servers. It stages packages in quarantine for static analysis without executing code, checking for vulnerabilities, credential theft signals, and prompt injection. It integrates with terminals, CI, and coding agents like Claude Code and Cursor to enforce security policies before dependencies are installed.
