Pipeworx IMEI MCP MCP server

An official MCP server by Pipeworx that provides offline, keyless validation for 15-digit IMEI and 16-digit IMEISV identifiers. It verifies validity using the Luhn algorithm and extracts structural components such as the Type Allocation Code (TAC), serial number, and check digit without requiring external device lookup services.

Claude Code

Run this once in a terminal. It registers a Streamable HTTP server. Use --scope project to write .mcp.json for the repo.
Claude Code configuration
claude mcp add --transport http pipeworx-imei-mcp https://gateway.pipeworx.io/imei/mcp

Codex

Run this once. Codex stores MCP servers in ~/.codex/config.toml (or .codex/config.toml in a trusted project).
Codex configuration
codex mcp add pipeworx-imei-mcp --url https://gateway.pipeworx.io/imei/mcp

Cursor

Merge this server into .cursor/mcp.json in your project, then enable pipeworx-imei-mcp in your MCP settings.
Cursor configuration

  "mcpServers": {
    "pipeworx-imei-mcp": {
      "url": "https://gateway.pipeworx.io/imei/mcp"
    }
  }
}

Cline

Merge this into cline_mcp_settings.json (Cline → MCP Servers → Configure). The type must be streamableHttp for a remote HTTP server.
Cline configuration
{
  "mcpServers": {
    "pipeworx-imei-mcp": {
      "type": "streamableHttp",
