Patricia MCP

Patricia is an AI coworker for marketing agencies that maintains a living memory of client work, Slack conversations, and decisions. The MCP server allows AI tools like Claude and Cursor to access this context, search workspace memory, manage files, and hand off tasks to Patricia for execution with human approval.

About Patricia MCP

Patricia MCP provides AI tools with access to a marketing agency's living memory, including client work, Slack conversations, and decisions. It enables agents to search workspace memory for specific client context, list and manage files within the agency workspace, and read company profile and team roster information.

The server supports handing off marketing tasks to Patricia for execution, which requires human approval. This allows AI agents to initiate workflows that are reviewed by a person before completion.

Connection requires OAuth sign-in, where the client opens the vendor's authorization prompt in a browser. Authentication for API requests uses a bearer token in the Authorization header. Two token types are documented: a workspace API key (pat_live_) that identifies the workspace, and a personal token (pat_mcp_) that identifies the person who minted it.

What you can do with it

  • Search workspace memory for client context
  • List and manage files in the agency workspace
  • Hand off marketing tasks to Patricia for approval
  • Read company profile and team roster

Claude Code

Run this once in a terminal. It registers the remote server. Use --scope project to write .mcp.json for the repo.
Claude Code configuration
claude mcp add --transport http patricia-mcp https://api.patricia.app/v1/mcp

Codex

Run this once. Codex stores MCP servers in ~/.codex/config.toml (or .codex/config.toml in a trusted project).
Codex configuration
codex mcp add patricia-mcp --url https://api.patricia.app/v1/mcp

Cursor

Merge this server into .cursor/mcp.json in your project, then enable patricia-mcp in your MCP settings.

Frequently asked questions

Can I use Patricia MCP without an account or payment?
The server requires OAuth sign-in and a bearer token for authentication. The live check only verifies connection and tool discovery; it does not confirm access to user content or successful tool execution without proper credentials.
What is the difference between pat_live_ and pat_mcp_ tokens?
The pat_live_ token is a Workspace API key that names the workspace and does not identify a person. The pat_mcp_ token is a Personal token that names the specific person who minted it.
Does the server execute tasks automatically?
No. The server allows AI tools to hand off tasks to Patricia for execution, but this process requires human approval before the task is completed.
