Paperport is an MCP server that searches the public arXiv API to retrieve paper metadata and abstracts, and manages a local storage shelf for downloaded papers. It allows agents to search for papers by query and filters, retrieve specific abstracts, download metadata to local markdown files, list stored papers, and read their content offline.
