OSCAR is a free, open-source editor and server for control interfaces that allows AI assistants to read project settings, published interfaces, widget configurations, MIDI ports, and network logs. The assistant can draft interface designs for user review but cannot send commands to software, publish changes, or modify existing projects directly, ensuring safety by keeping all actions local to the computer running OSCAR.
