The Npm MCP server provides five tools to interact with the npm Registry API without authentication. It allows agents to search for packages by keyword, retrieve detailed package metadata including dependencies and licenses, fetch download statistics over various time periods, list published versions with dist-tags, and get specific version metadata such as integrity hashes and engine requirements.
