Nelly the Elephant is an MCP server that searches local Claude Code session transcripts stored as JSONL files and provides commands to resume past conversations. It supports keyword search with date and project filters, retrieves expanded context from specific sessions, and lists recent sessions. The server operates with zero network calls, reading only local files via stdio transport.
