meteor-mcp
A community MCP server for amateur radio meteor scatter planning. It calculates whether two stations can communicate during a meteor shower by analyzing path length, radiant elevation at the path midpoint, and the angle between the radiant and the path. It provides verdicts such as no, marginal, good, or best, and uses data from the IAU Meteor Data Center.
Package and access
Local package with source-attributed installation metadata. Koskamo does not execute packages during review.
What you can do with it
- Determine if two stations can work each other on a specific meteor shower
- Calculate radiant elevation at the path midpoint
- Check the angle between the radiant and the communication path
- Retrieve live flux and fireball data
