Melody Genie MCP

An official Model Context Protocol server that exposes the Melody Genie AI music studio to AI agents. It allows users to browse style profiles, write and score lyrics, generate full songs using various AI models (Suno V6, Lyria 3.5, etc.), split stems, and manage songs. The server uses OAuth 2.1 for authentication, leveraging the user's existing Melody Genie account and credits without requiring separate API keys.

Endpoint and access

OAuth sign-in: the first time you connect, your client opens the vendor's own authorization prompt in a browser.

Melody Genie writes original lyrics in artist-inspired or personal writing styles, scores them for craft (Genie Score), turns them into finished songs with seven selectable models (Suno V6, Google Lyria 3.5, Mureka 9.5, MiniMax Music 3, ElevenLabs Music v2.5, ACE-Step 1.5, and Stable Audio 3 for instrumentals), and separates stems. Typical flow: list_styles → write_lyrics → score_lyrics (free) → improve_lyrics if needed → generate_song → get_song until status is "complete" → separate_stems. In hosts that render UI (ChatGPT plugins, MCP Apps), call show_song with the song_id right after generate_song so the user gets an inline player that refreshes itself; in text-only hosts, get_song is enough. Rules: styles describe how a style is built; output is always original and never presented as written by a real person. The Genie Score measures craft, not success — never describe it as a hit or virality prediction. Song rendering takes 1–3 minutes; poll get_song every 15–20 seconds. Credits are the user's Melody Genie credits; if a tool says UPGRADE_REQUIRED, send the user to https://melodygenie.app/plans.
