MCP Observatory MCP
A free, MIT-licensed security testing tool for Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers. It allows developers to scan, audit, and compare MCP servers locally or in CI pipelines. Features include schema drift detection, attack simulation, health scoring, and SARIF report generation. It also supports runtime enforcement via mcp-seatbelt to block dangerous tool calls based on scan results.
Package and access
Local package with source-attributed installation metadata. Koskamo does not execute packages during review.
What you can do with it
- Scan MCP servers for security vulnerabilities and schema drift
- Simulate attacks to test server resilience
- Generate compliance evidence and SARIF reports
