mcp-notes-server
A minimal, free, and open-source Model Context Protocol (MCP) server written in Python. It provides AI assistants with a persistent notebook capability by storing notes in a local JSON file. The server supports creating notes with titles and bodies, listing saved notes, and performing case-insensitive keyword searches across titles and bodies. It uses the official mcp Python SDK (FastMCP) and communicates over stdio, requiring no database, cloud services, or user accounts.
