mcp-hashlib
An MCP server that exposes hashlib functionality to LLMs. It provides tools for generating various cryptographic hashes including MD5, SHA1, SHA256, SHA512, SHA3, BLAKE2, and SHAKE, as well as key derivation functions like PBKDF2-HMAC and Scrypt. It also supports hashing file-like objects and incremental hashing.
Package and access
Local package with source-attributed installation metadata. Koskamo does not execute packages during review.
What you can do with it
- Generate MD5, SHA1, SHA256, or SHA512 hashes for data integrity checks
- Compute SHA3 or BLAKE2 hashes for modern cryptographic applications
- Derive keys using PBKDF2-HMAC or Scrypt for secure password storage
- Hash file-like objects directly without loading entire content into memory
