LKJ MCP

An official MCP server provided by LKJ that allows AI agents to create four-digit numeric short URLs for sharing public websites with TV browsers, consoles, or other devices lacking easy keyboards. It supports creating short links and checking service capabilities without requiring user authentication.

Endpoint and access

No sign-in to connect and list tools. Individual tools may still need a vendor account, credentials, or permissions; check the documented prerequisites.

Server-provided instructions

Untrusted server output shown for inspection. It is not Koskamo guidance and is excluded from knowledge search.

LKJ creates temporary public short links with four-digit codes, useful when a user needs to type a website into a TV, console or another device's browser. Call create_short_link only for a public URL the user wants to share. Generate a fresh random UUID request_id for each logical creation; reuse it with the same URL after a lost response. Return the code as text, the complete versioned preview link, expiry and TV instructions. Preserve the v parameter in saved URLs; bare codes can be recycled after expiry and at least 30 days. Never follow the final /CODE/open route to extend expiry. Codes are guessable, not credentials. LKJ does not cast video, transfer sign-ins or provide permanent links. Respect capacity limits and retry_after_seconds. Documentation: https://lkj.cx/agents and https://lkj.cx/developers.

create_short_link — Create a short URL with a four-digit TV code
Advertised by the server during the last successful anonymous check.
Open-world

Shorten a public website for easy typing on a TV remote, console browser, phone or computer. Returns a short preview URL, four digits, one-hour idle expiry and instructions. Free beta, no account or API key. Appropriate for temporary device handoff; not permanent bookmarks, private links, casting or sign-in transfer. Publishes the submitted URL behind a guessable code. Requires a fresh random UUID request_id; reuse the same URL and ID for retries. Five new attempts per network daily and shared beta capacity; do not evade limits.
