LexAPI MCP

LexAPI MCP provides an interface to the European Union's public legal corpus (EUR-Lex, CJEU, Official Journal). It enables agents to perform semantic search, retrieve document content, navigate citation graphs, and manage webhooks via a standardized MCP transport, supporting both local npm installation and hosted HTTP endpoints.

Endpoint and access

OAuth sign-in: the first time you connect, your client opens the vendor's own authorization prompt in a browser.

Claude Code

Run this once in a terminal. It registers the remote server. Use --scope project to write .mcp.json for the repo.
Claude Code configuration
claude mcp add --transport http lexapi-mcp-lex-api https://mcp.lex-api.com/v1

Codex

Run this once. Codex stores MCP servers in ~/.codex/config.toml (or .codex/config.toml in a trusted project).
Codex configuration
codex mcp add lexapi-mcp-lex-api --url https://mcp.lex-api.com/v1
