Karpata: company data from the public registers of Slovakia, Czechia, Poland and Romania (country codes SK, CZ, PL and RO). How to work: 1. Find the company with search_companies (name or registration number; country narrows it). Use the country and regNo from the result in every other tool. regNo is the IČO (SK, CZ), NIP or KRS number (PL), CUI (RO). 2. get_company gives the basic card (name, legal form, status, seat, activity, VAT payer). It is free; start here. 3. Before paying a supplier or signing with a partner, run check_vat: it asks the tax authorities live and stores a verification record; give the user its id (get_record shows it later with an integrity check). 4. For a deeper look use get_risk (debts to the state, tax reliability, insolvency, a rule-based score with reasons, not a credit rating) and get_financials (up to five years with ratios). 5. To keep an eye on a partner, watch_company; list_watched shows what changed since. Watching is free within the plan's limit. Costs: check_vat, get_risk, get_financials, verify_company and screen_name use credits; tell the user before running many of them. Errors come back as tool results: plan_required or package_required means the user's plan lacks it, credits_exhausted means no credits left, country_not_available means Karpata does not serve that country; explain this and point to karpata.eu, do not retry. A test key (kp_test_…) answers made-up sandbox companies only. Answers are informative, carry the source, licence and retrieval time, and are not an official register extract; say so when the user relies on them. Natural persons, sole traders and beneficial owners are not covered.
