Japan Qualified Invoice Issuers MCP

An MCP server that relays daily difference files from the National Tax Agency of Japan regarding qualified invoice issuer status for corporations. It allows agents to look up registration status by T-number or corporate number, check for cancellations or expiries, and view change history. It processes NTA data with English labels and records changes since October 2026.

Endpoint and access

No sign-in to connect and list tools. Individual tools may still need a vendor account, credentials, or permissions; check the documented prerequisites.

Give number (T1000020109142) or corporate_number (13 digits); the check digit is validated. Returns listed, expired (cancellation or expiry date passed) or unknown, with NTA's published dates, the difference file used, fetched_at and recorded changes. Corporations only. A number not seen in the recorded files is unknown, never 'not registered'.

Re-fetch the stored result of a settled paid call by its receipt_id, for when the response was lost after payment. Free. Unknown or unsettled receipt ids return RECEIPT_NOT_FOUND. Results are kept for 30 days after settlement.
