What its tools do

3 tools, grouped by the hints the server advertises. Hints are self-declared, not verified behavior.

3 of 3 have a description · 3 of 3 declare behavior hints · 2 of 2 with parameters document them all

Checks and signals

Each line is separate evidence, not a trust score.

  • Passed Endpoint answered the live check ·
  • Passed Official MCP Registry namespace is tied to infectrisk.com ·
  • Passed Endpoint is on the registry namespace domain ·
  • Availability 1 of 1 checks passed in 30 days

What you can do with it

  • Retrieve qualitative respiratory illness activity levels for specific countries
  • List countries covered by the surveillance data
  • Access tracked WHO and ECDC outbreak notifications
  • Monitor direction of illness activity compared to previous weeks

Server-provided instructions

Untrusted server output shown for inspection. It is not Koskamo guidance and is excluded from knowledge search.

InfectRisk reports current respiratory illness activity (influenza, COVID-19, RSV) for 24 countries from aggregated public surveillance data (RKI, ECDC, UKHSA, CDC, WHO FluNet). Answers are qualitative only: activity level, direction, reported week, data date and source. This server never returns incidence numbers, case counts, prevalence or regional breakdowns, and it is not medical advice, not a diagnosis and not a personal risk assessment. Upstream sources publish weekly; data is refetched every 6 hours. A third tool, list_outbreaks, covers a separate dataset: the tracked WHO and ECDC outbreak notifications (Ebola, cholera, mpox and the like) with their region, status, WHO link and a plain language brief. Case figures appear there only where the published pages already show them, and they are reproduced as reported, not verified by InfectRisk. When `stale` is true the source has not published recently; say so instead of reporting the level as current.

Advertised read-only

Return the current respiratory illness activity (influenza, COVID-19, RSV) for one country as a qualitative level plus direction, reported week, data date, age of that data and source. Returns no incidence numbers, no case counts and no personal risk assessment, and it is not medical advice. When `stale` is true the source has not published recently; say so instead of reporting the level as current.

list_outbreaks
Advertised by the server during the last successful anonymous check.
Advertised read-only

List the outbreak notifications InfectRisk tracks (WHO Disease Outbreak News, ECDC and news consensus): disease, affected region, lifecycle status, WHO link, a plain language brief and the page a reader can open. Case figures are included only for outbreaks whose public pages already show them, reproduced as reported and never verified by InfectRisk. Separate dataset from the respiratory activity tools; it carries no incidence numbers and no personal risk assessment.

90-day uptime

A lightweight connection check about every six hours, sampled on hosts with many listings. It shows the server answered, not that its tools work.

Too few checks for a percentage yet (2 of 2 answered).
