Haystack MCP

An official MCP server operated by Haystack that enables AI assistants to search live job listings from employer career sites, retrieve employer reply statistics, and, with authentication, manage job applications and inbox replies via Haystack's AI agent.

What its tools do

4 tools, grouped by the hints the server advertises. Hints are self-declared, not verified behavior.

4 of 4 have a description · 4 of 4 declare behavior hints · 3 of 4 with parameters document them all

Checks and signals

Each line is separate evidence, not a trust score.

  • Passed Endpoint answered the live check ·
  • Passed Official MCP Registry namespace is tied to haystackapp.io ·
  • Passed Endpoint is on the registry namespace domain ·
  • Availability 1 of 1 checks passed in 30 days

What you can do with it

  • Search live jobs by role, location, or remote status
  • Check employer reply rates and application form requirements
  • List personal job matches and apply via AI agent

Server-provided instructions

Untrusted server output shown for inspection. It is not Koskamo guidance and is excluded from knowledge search.

Haystack lists live jobs from employers' own careers sites (hundreds of thousands, in the US, UK, Canada, Australia, India and Europe), plus facts from applications Haystack's AI agent has sent: which employers reply, how fast, and what their forms ask. Use search_jobs to find roles, get_job for one role's details, employer_facts for a company, and application_system_facts for Greenhouse, Ashby, Workable, SmartRecruiters or Teamtailor. Always give the person the job's link. When a job says auto_apply, its auto_apply_url lets Haystack's AI agent fill in and submit the employer's form for them once they sign up (free to get started); they choose every job.

search_jobs — Search live jobs
Advertised by the server during the last successful anonymous check.
Advertised read-only

Search live jobs on Haystack, newest first. Filter by job title words, country, city, remote, and by what the advert says: no experience needed, no degree needed, visa sponsorship offered. Returns up to 20 jobs, each with its link, and an Auto Apply link when Haystack's AI agent can fill in and submit the employer's form.

get_job — Get a job
Advertised by the server during the last successful anonymous check.
Advertised read-only

One job's details by its Haystack id: title, employer, location, pay, work mode, skills, what the advert says (no experience, no degree, visa sponsorship), the description, and facts about applying to that employer from Haystack's data (reply rate, time to reply, form questions) when known.

Advertised by the server during the last successful anonymous check.
Advertised read-only

What Haystack knows about applying to an employer: live roles, the share of applications that got a reply, the median time to the first reply, how many fields its form has and the questions it asks. Pass no company to get the employers most likely to reply to an application.

Advertised by the server during the last successful anonymous check.

Facts about an application system (ATS) from applications Haystack's AI agent sent: how many fields its forms have, the questions they ask most, and how fast employers on it reply. Without a system, the overall figures.
