gguf-mcp

An MCP server that inspects local model files — GGUF and safetensors — so Claude and other LLMs can answer questions about the models on your disk. It provides tools to summarize model format, architecture, parameters, quantization, context length, and file size. It lists tensors with shapes and storage types, estimates VRAM fit based on weights and KV cache, and retrieves metadata. The parser never touches tensor data, ensuring fast inspection with minimal I/O and no network access.
