foehn MCP

foehn is an open-source tool that downloads and converts MeteoSwiss open government meteorological data. It provides a Python API, CLI, and an MCP server, allowing LLMs to directly query Swiss weather data including weather stations, radar, hail, forecasts, and climate series. Data is converted to Parquet, xarray Datasets, or Zarr stores for efficient access.
